The Challenge
The client, a leading US-based CRO, has over 150 tenants on their Argus Safety System with over 300,000 cases. They wanted to provide secure access to their tenants on their respective data. Additionally, they wanted to provide a single solution for Pixel Perfect Reports, Self-service Reporting and Data Visualization to simplify data analysis and fetch business-critical data insights with ease. While Argus Safety was their primary data source, they wanted an option to extend it to include more sources such as file systems, clinical systems etc.

We have developed a proprietary SaaS cloud-based Analytics solution, UltraAnalytics, with a powerful system architecture to provide a sustainable reporting solution that is flexible, scalable and meets stringent security standards to ensure data safety & privacy. Based on the challenges shared by the client’s business teams and our assessment of their current and future reporting needs, UltraAnalytics provided a robust solution to make them future-ready for their reporting and data analysis needs.

End users can easily create their own line listings, summary tabulations, and charts, enabling them to drill down to the smallest level of detail they require to extract valuable insights efficiently and effectively. It also provides them with a development area with advanced reporting capabilities for technical (power) users. They can generate complex reports including pixel-perfect forms and tabulations required for regulatory submissions.
• Unified Data – The solution uses smart connectors to extract data from a variety of sources and compile it in a standard format into the data lake for further processing, analytics, and reports generation.
• Efficient Process – The solution automates source data ingestion and processing, facilitates operational and regulatory reporting, allowing resources to be focused on high-value functions, leading to 100% regulatory compliance and a remarkable improvement in process efficiency and accuracy.
• Security and Scalability – The solution ensures complete data security across tenants using Data Lake with role-based-access-controls. This also makes the system scalable, both vertically and horizontally, to support high case volumes i.e., +10M initial cases.

With UltraAnalytics, we provided the client a pre-validated out-of-box data model to generate line listing, summary tabulations and visualization with ease. This has resulted in a much quicker turnaround on ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests with significant reduction in validation and verification efforts. With a data ingestion framework in place, the customer is future ready to consume data from variety of sources/formats in addition to safety system. The client can provide secure access to their tenants on UltraAnalytics instead of providing the direct access on safety system to view/consume the case data. With the cost linked to usage instead of number of users, the implementation cost was significantly lower than other market offerings.
